One of the other participants has been educating us with his animal postcards. I have enjoyed them so much that I have decided to feature cards from the animal world for the next few weeks.
On the back, this one says "The Australian Kangaroo with Koala inset."
I received this when I did a quilt block exchange with a quilter in Sydney, Australia. No stamps.
The website Koala Express has a page of interesting facts about Kangaroos.
Postcard Friendship Friday is hosted by Beth of The Best Hearts are Crunchy.
This is a lovely postcard. I've always had a soft spot for Australia's amazing animals. I really enjoyed this post!
ReplyDeleteHappy Postcard Friendship Friday!
Nice card! I don't have many cards of animals. I'd love to see a kangaroo with a young one in its pouch.
ReplyDeleteI love the gentle look of that kangaroo. :)
ReplyDeleteI love koalas. they seem so cuddly! Fun postcard! Happy PFF!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have received a postcard from Australia. I wish someone would send me one. I would love to see Koala and Kangaroo in Australia though I have seen some in the zoo.

I would never get tired when it comes to animals and wildlife! They're such fascinating. I wish I could see these fantastic Australian wildlife with my own two eyes one day.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Very cute! I've always enjoyed the Australian animals and like to learn about them. For my wedding, which was held at a deer park/ petting zoo, I got to carry a wallabee down the aisle instead of a bouquet. It was really cool!
