Oktoberfest is also celebrated in Kitchener/Waterloo, which are the next towns from where I live.
Ah, this is wonderful! We celebrate Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel every October. We've been a part of that celebration for years and years. The second largest Glockenspeal (sp) is there in Mt. Angel.

We have a big German community here and for sure Oktoberfest is celebrated with so much fanfare (and beer! hahaha). I love the sights Munchen has to offer. Have a nice weekend.
