Postcard Friendship Friday - Moving Day Approaches

It's almost time to be moving daughter for her first year away from home for university.  A busy and exciting time. Son has been away for three years now and has broken us into what is expected of parents while their kids are off fulfilling their destiny (whatever that might turn out to be).  It will be an interesting time for all of us.

Daughter is not moving to  Wisconsin as shown in the postcard. She'll be less than an hour away.  I received this great card via Postcrossing.  Mapping was one of my subjects of studying while I attended the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario.  I love map cards.

Postcard Friendship Friday is hosted by Beth of the blog The Best Hearts are Crunchy.  All are invited to visit with her and add a link to their current postcard post.

  1. What a wonderful postcard! I like maps. They are endlessly fascinating to me. Thank you for posting this. And congratulations to your daughter. It sounds like you have two really great kids. We've been without ours for about five years now. Life sure is different--but wonderful all the same. Have a lovely weekend, dear Heather! Happy PFF!

  2. Maps are a favourite of mine as well. This is a nice one for seeing the interesting names of towns.
